Acrylic Rubber-Reinforced Halloysite Nanotubes/Carbon Black Hybrid Fillers for Oil Seal Applications: Thermal Stability and Dynamic Mechanical Properties

چکیده
In this study, we show that adding halloysite nanotubes (HNT) to carbon black (CB)-packed acrylic rubber (ACM) composites improves their thermal properties. The thermo-oxidative stability, and dynamic mechanical properties of ACM (filled simply with 70 phr CB) hybrid comprising a fixed amount CB (60 phr) variable (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 were investigated. As evidenced by the oxidation induction time analysis, structures support higher degree antioxidation in reinforced twin fillers than just CB. dual had greater breakdown temperatures (temperatures at 10% weight loss (T10) 50% (T50)) char residue concentration 600°C conventional composites, according thermogravimetric tests. activation energy disintegration as determined Kissinger Flynn–Wall–Ozawa techniques, shows addition HNT stability composites. storage modulus was increased 79 percent 30°C when filler replaced 6 tubular HNT, additional viscoelastic experiments.

Effect of carbon black and fly ash co-fillers content on mechanical and thermal behaviors of styrene butadiene rubber compounds
Fly ash (FA) is produced as a waste byproduct during the burning process of coal in thermal power plants whose cost is primarily associated to cleaning and transportation. It possesses mechanical properties on account of its constituents like silica and alumina. The use of FA as filler in styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) was of researchers’ interest to reinforce and/or to reduce product cost. In ...

High Density Polyethylene Composites Reinforced with Hybrid Inorganic Fillers: Morphology, Mechanical and Thermal Expansion Performance
The effect of individual and combined talc and glass fibers (GFs) on mechanical and thermal expansion performance of the filled high density polyethylene (HDPE) composites was studied. Several published models were adapted to fit the measured tensile modulus and strength of various composite systems. It was shown that the use of silane-modified GFs had a much larger effect in improving mechanic...

A low cost and low dielectric loss zirconium silicate (ZrSiO4) reinforced HDPE (high-density polyethylene) composite has been developed for antenna applications. The 0-3 type composite is prepared by dispersing ZrSiO4 fillers for various volume fractions (0.1 to 0.5) in the HDPE matrix by the melt mixing process. The composite shows good microwave dielectric properties with a relative permittiv...

The experimental study deals with Hybrid fibre reinforced concrete with the use of (Polypropylene and Recycled polyethylene terephthalate RPET). The M40 grade concrete used was designed by using IS10262-2009 code. The steel fibre and synthetic fibre were added at the volume fractions up to 0.5%. Test results showed that the fibres, when used in a hybrid form, could result in superior composite ...
